SUGAR-FREE HOT CHOCOLATE

 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk.
  • 1 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoons sugar-free sweetener (such as Stevia or Erythritol)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream (sugar-free), cinnamon, or sugar-free marshmallows

Instructions:

-In a small saucepan, heat the almond milk over medium heat until it begins to steam. Do not let it come to a boil.
-In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder and sugar-free sweetener until well combined.
-Slowly add the cocoa mixture to the saucepan of warm almond milk, whisking continuously to prevent lumps.
-Continue to whisk the mixture over medium heat until it is well blended and hot. Be careful not to let it boil.
-Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
-Taste the hot chocolate and adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more sweetener if desired.
-Pour the hot chocolate into mugs and top with sugar-free whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or sugar-free marshmallows if desired.
-Serve immediately and enjoy your sugar-free hot chocolate!

Note: Feel free to customize this recipe by using a different type of milk or adding spices like cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavor. Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more or less sugar-free sweetener.
